Little Tennis

This program is modeled after the official USPTA "Little Tennis" Clinic specifically developed for ages 4 to 8. The program is designed for young children with an emphasis on FUN and skill/stroke development. Little Tennis is the most popular children's instructional program in the United States. The USTA's Quick Start Tennis will be used during Little Tennis. This is an innovative way to keep children excited about tennis by rallying low compression/foam tennis balls over smaller nets. Properly sized junior racquets are available to use at no cost during the clinic.

3. If you miss a clinic, please attend the next alternate Saturday program or a weekday clinic. Sessions are not prorated nor do make-ups carry over into the next session. Tour Elite players should mak-up in Weekend Warriors. Weekened Warriors should make-up either in Tour Elite or Weekend Warriors which is held on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. no reservation necessary.
4 We will always have the clinic except in extreme blizzard conditions; yes, even if it looks like a good day to go sledding!!!
5. If you ever have any questions of technique, tactic, or tennis in general, please ask so we can get you on the right track quickly. Set goals for yourself. Tennis is a progression sport. Be willing to start out slow, gaining form and confidence in your shot. Then practice the correct technique again and again, building your muscle memory.
6. Ball/racquet abuse and obscenities will not be tolerated.
7. Expect yourself to be mentally and physically alert at all times on the court, whether you are hitting a shot or in a line drill. Be prepared and focused for the next opportunity, not dwelling on the last. Please be sure to give the Pro speaking your full attention, especially when we say "pick up the tennis balls!"
8. There are many other playing opportunities like Junior Court Time Specials, Summer Team Tennis, Summer Camps, USTA Junior Team Tennis and tournaments. Just ask if you are interested.
9. We have complied a great staff of teaching professionals. Pro's who have big time match experience and Pro's who have coached great players. Get the most out of us and you and your opponent will see the improvement in your game. Please complete the client information card at the front desk if your information has changed so you will have all tennis updates emailed to you.

Only the top 24 juniors
from QOSTC qualify
for the Tour Elite Clinic.
By registering for this clinic, you agree to shift to the top level group of Weekend Warriors from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. if you are not up to the Tour Elite level. Level will be determined by a challenge every few weeks. Please see Brian Fankhauser for clarification.
